Dr. Nina has over 25 years of experience teaching and leading students in every grade from kindergarten to college. She spent nearly ten years in a large metro Atlanta school district before opening Ivy Prep Academy, Georgia’s first single-gender charter school. After creating a small network of single-gender schools, she moved into roles that permitted her to research best practices in education and advocate for the kids and communities she served. In 2013, Dr. Nina transitioned from the K12 sector into higher education where she served as the Senior Advisor on Education Reform at Morehouse College and an adjunct professor at both Morehouse College and Mercer University.
She is a social entrepreneur, writer, speaker, trainer and consultant who also spends a great deal of her time serving as a local and national thought leader and advisor to several education organizations. Dr. Nina received a B.A. from the University of West Georgia, a Master's Degree from Clark Atlanta University and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
